The best way to get to the Keys is to drive. However, there are seaplanes that fly from Miami to Key West. From Miami it's only about an hour to get to Key Largo. Another two hours to Key West. Tavernier is located just South of Key Largo and just North of Islamorada. The drive through the Keys is magnificent with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Florida Bay on the other.
Take 836 Expressway West to the Florida Turnpike South. Take Florida Turnpike South and follow the signs through Homestead/Florida City/Keys, Turnpike ends at Florida City. Take U.S. 1 South to Mile Marker 91.8 in historic Tavernier. We'll be waiting to welcome you in the coral building to your left across from Froggy's Fitness Center.
